Melanie Sutherland started off her DJ career spinning reggae at small parties and quickly branched out landing her first gig to spin house music in Detroit. Melanie plays many different genres of house but her underlying sound is deep and soulful with African and Latin vibes. She hosts her brand of SOUL on her own Mixshow on www.ElectronicMusicCafe.com every Thursday at 1pm (EST). Always willing to lend a helping hand Melanie became a resident DJ at Harlem helping to raise over $100,000 for Doctors Without Borders through the Music is the Answer series of charitable events. With her focus on the art of producing, Melanie’s first track Rastafari was released by Broken Records on the DJ Divas album in 2010. She was also blessed to have her Walk Through the Cafe remix featured on the Chilled and Unbroken Too Album.

“Born on Dec 8,1987 in LaPlata Maryland.
At the tender age of ten I started dj’ing for the very first time in June 1,1998 at a underground reggea bashment an after my first gig I was hooked.
I found out at a young age that I had a ear for music and a talent for mixing differnt genres of music like old school hiphop,reggae, and funk. My father was a DJ at the time also and he noticed that I was practicing on the turntables every chance that I got. My father started me off with a few gigs on saturdays at local block parties during the summer time.After a few gigs I started to make a name for myself in the neighborhood as the young kidd that can put it down on the turntables….”

Keano’s career started when he was 16 years old;
He has played at events with ICE-T and as supporting act for Naughty by Nature (Method Man), Boyz 2 Men, the Wutang Clan and Jennifer Lopez.
And in clubs all over the world, such as Roxy (New York), Amnesia (Ibiza) and Privilege (Ibiza). His music vibes include House-, Hip-Hop and R´n´B:
Believe it or leave it (R´n´B, Black), Stille Wasser1 & 2 (Electro – and Vocal House) and Get out of my Sun (R´n´B, Black).
Keano played at the presentation of the G-Unit (50cent) collection, Ecko Red fashion show, Diesel, Bread & Butter (Berlin) and Mercedes – Benz fashion week (Berlin).
After playing R´n´B and Hip Hop for many years, Keano turned to house music, playing with great names like David Morales and Armand Van Helden and started producing his own house tracks and remixes.

Welcome To VIM And GYR, DJ Physical Ed!
In 1994, it wasn’t long before Ed’s passion for the club scene in Brighton soon extended onto the hollowed wheels of steel and 6months on, Ed, Andy Marsh and Col Fish had queues of revellers lining up every Friday and Saturday to get into the then brand new Bar Coast in Croydon which was to become the launch pad for Ed’s djing career.
For the first decade of his career, Ed floated between his favourite genre of soulful house and a tougher style of house music that was required for a lot of the large underground destination venues he was playing at the time.
During this time held long running residencies at The Cross, Love II Lounge, Space, Hanover Grand, Velvet Underground to name just a small number. Guest slots were far and wide from London Clubs such as The Ministry of Sound and Pacha, to Lithuania, Portugal, Scotland, Ireland and of course Ibiza.
In 1994, Ed also embarked on a 6 years residency in Leicester Square’s Sound Nightclub where for the first time he diversified into more urban dance music. A change he found refreshing as he happily embraces all styles of dance music both old and new.
It is this love of all things dance related, coupled with his vast experience that led in 1993 to Ed being asked to Lecture in djing at the Vestax Academy at The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, Surrey. Ed here not only taught beginners the art of djing but also taught master classes, helping established djs become even better.
It’s probably because Ed has worn so many djing hats that he now does what he does so well. Not contained by the parameters of any one genre of dance music, Ed can now play an eclectic but highly charged set regardless of genre that is going to have the maximum effect on the dance floor, and for some reason, Ed always knows exactly what to play next.
“A long time ago I said my objective was to get everyone up dancing, and if someone stopped, or sat down, I’d failed in some small way. I don’t think anything’s changed.”

Herr Oppermann (Roaring Cubes / WE-LOVE-HOUSE.FM)
Grown up with the sound of the ’80s, he discovered early a penchant for electronic music, where artists and bands like Jan Hammer or Kraftwerk were among the companions. With his passion for house, electronic sounds and mixing he had gigs at various clubs in Germany – for example, the „Sonne Mond und Sterne“ Festival (DJ Contest), the Juicy Beats Festival, and a residency at the club “Electroosho” or the famous „Warehouse“ in Colgone. In the late 90 ́s he worked as the organizer and moderator for radio show “Kingz of Beat” out of the legendary Stammheim Club building. After a break in Zurich to 2010 he continues his work now under the name „Herr Oppermann“ as a DJ and Producer, and also as the host of the radio show „CUBED!“ on WE-LOVE-HOUSE.FM. His style is “very varied, but always House” and varies between deep and minimal up to soulful house. He combines classic parts of house music with the influence of actual minimal house elements. More then 20 Years of experience, his passion for electronic music and his motto „house is a feeling“ led his sets to be a special event – always changing and never the same.
