That night
By LauraLME ©
That night I was sliding into myself,
victim and author of my own carnage,
trying to grasp and ascend,
from a ravine of tears and wonders.
That night, still of frames,
clear and muddy of torment
lost in my sea of fears,
I was taking breaths of wind,
falling again in a deeper darker abyss.
I was missing air suffocating in pain,
Praying,
words bouncing on the wall,
bordering despair,
boundary of my heart’s crossing point.
I was finding myself again,
missing survivor
at the shore of your hostile land.
That night engulfed my tears
swallowed my hope!
Relentless nightmares advanced,
entangled me,
and I became a fallen star
in your timeless net.

Beautiful, yet full of tragedy.
